Do you select well known brands like GE or so called better brands such as wolf, Dacor, Thermador, Miele, Bosch. There are many considerations. Not all ittems made by a company are equally good. Bosc for example makes excellent dishwashers which are amazingly quiet, but their items in their line maybe not all that perfect for your needs. And then of course, it the questions of design, installation and maintenance.
